戰鬥民族的解放日

和當地人哈拉，或舉杯相敬，甚至即興歡唱，是團體旅途中偶有能和在地人互動的機會 … but why do I perceive it as a positive interaction among total strangers and even a sign of true “liberation socio-politique” of this local society?  

因為不是每個地方的民情都一樣! 比如For very long time, 20 years at least, I did not expect to have any friendly interaction between the locals and my tourist group when travelling in Russia … until last year! 這種和當地人不易親近的感覺，我在阿拉伯國家旅行時也會有。語言固然是關鍵，絶對是關鍵 - 尚好是講閩南語也通 this is always pleasing to our grand-ego! 但是像是在斯里蘭卡、泰國等完全講沒通的地方，即興而友善的互動機會就比這些國家很多的! 

But my stereotyped “unfriendly Russians” image totally changed after our last year’s V-Day trip to St. Petersburg. Either on the street or in restaurants,  (young) folks not only responded to our greetings and some even invited us to join their party for a drink or a group photo. 

以前我組團去湊俄羅斯勝利日的熱鬧，本來都說是去親身體會«戰鬥民族»歷久不衰的戰鬥士氣，但是去年在聖堡的勝利日紀念會，體會卻大大不同。或應說，現在聖堡的 V-Day holiday 主辦單位行，活動搞得跟以前很不一樣。除了例行閱兵，還有午後廣場趴、搖滾音樂會 和 河岸煙火 …

the military parade was still fervidly carried out, (Grand-Pa) heroes were still fully honored, marching music played… but most of all  - 值得為這個國家和人民高興 – 的是，在勝利的日子裡，少了几分肅殺，多了許多祥和。 俄國人真解放了!

另外一個令我驚奇，甚至驚喜的，是在當代美術館裡看到的好几個«反政府»，或批叛蘇聯時期(如:偉大的祖國CCCP, 滿肚子尖刀的俄羅斯娃娃 和 2014 Sochi冬奧被遺忘的切爾克斯滅族史等) 的藝術創作。

 

 

有些很直接，也有不少帶著黑色幽默… 普丁大帝怎麼沒意見? And why should I be surprised? 

如果行萬里路真能勝過讀書，或許就是在於當地當下的見聞，往往能打破書本裡 – 或是新聞報導 - 的偏見吧!
