Shumei m'a retrouvé le livre de dessins l'autre jour et en a fait quelques copies par le scannneur. Et voila j'en profite pour faire mes meilleurs voeux à toutes mes familles - en France, aux Etats Unis, et à Taiwan! 
淑梅幫我掃描了几張我少年時在法國農莊的素描。這幅描的是我上課前和下課後的工作之一:養雞養鴨和種菜等等雜工。素描左下方那種白鐵做的[餵水桶]現在恐怕都看不到了。很簡單的構造，也不用電，一桶水可以隨著雞、鴨飲用，自動受大氣壓力滲出，一天加個兩、三回即可。唯一的問題是冬天碰上寒流時會結冰，我就得隨時得打熱水給那些雞子鴨孫。没弄清楚那凍了一晚的水桶會咬人，剛開始，好几次早晨換水時，那[餵水桶]差點没把我手指尖黏下一層皮...喜逢洋年新春，這幅"寒天打水，點滴心頭"的素描，就用來向我散居三洲的家人賀節吧!

Hi, Vivian! How's the accounting for 2008? Well balanced, i hope. Yes,i used to draw and gave away to those who liked'em. Don't know in which continents and in what collectioner's hand...ha ha!
i certainly should pick up my pencil again...
